About Us
Sauerburger is based in the Black Forest in Germany, just a stone’s throw from the border with France and Switzerland. The family business, now in its tenth generation, develops and produces slope tractors and equipment for agriculture, landscape maintenance and municipal use.
The product portfolio includes vehicles in various designs. In addition, there are numerous mulchers, mowers, vineyard equipment and equipment for indoor use. We always maintain close contact and exchange with our customers and puts great emphasis to developing reliable, comfortable and sustainable products for the specific applications in everyday use.
Even today, the headquarters of our family-run company, now in its tenth generation, is still located at the Wasenweiler site in the Black Forest – close to the border with France and Switzerland – with its own development and production facilities. Sauerburger employs 75 people. The tractors and equipment are used for a wide variety of applications worldwide, for example in the USA, Australia, France, Austria and Switzerland.

Our vision is to develop and provide the best possible solutions for the different, sometimes very specific areas of application of our customers. Reliability, sustainability and ease of use are our top priorities across all product lines.
For example, we have three cutting configurations that range from standard pasture clipping, crop residue mulching and to very fine chopping.
In the field of flail mulchers, we are also the only manufacturer in the world with a 31’ working width mulcher.
In our newly developed GRIP 4-70, you will experience a level of clarity and ergonomic comfort that is unique for this class of vehicle.
